Back to School; Things I'm Loving

Fall is (basically) here, and these are some of the things I'm currently loving!

1. High-top Platform Converse:

If you know me, you know I LOVE my converse. I think at the moment I have 4 pairs?? But that's because they are such a staple in my wardrobe. They go with everything, they're super comfy, and they have every color under the sun. Right now though, my current obsession is my white high-top platform chuck taylors.

The white goes with everything, and all things considered- they're not very expensive if you are looking for nice sneakers and are ballin on a budget.

They do get pretty dirty though so I would suggest getting one of those water-proof sprays and maybe investing in some magic erasers to clean off the toe, and the rubber soles.

2. Bath and Body Works 3-Wick Candles

I think it's safe to say that we alllllll love these candles, but I think that the obsession is warranted. They last forever, and they can fill the whole house with their scent. My favorites are definitely any of the aromatherapy ones, rose water and ivy, and fresh linen. I'm not a huge fan of the super sweet scents like vanilla, or caramel, but even so- B&BW knows how to do it right.

Living with 3 girls, our house doesn't usually get stinky, but if we're cooking onions or something for dinner- we just light one of these bad boys and BOOM smells fresh again.

3. Amazon Throw Pillows & Wall Art

I just moved into a house with friends, so this past summer I had to collect some room essentials. I got a dresser from my mom, a cute little desk I found at Goodwill, a desk chair I got from my sister, I got a mattress from a family friend, and I found a bed frame/box spring off of Facebook Marketplace. So all of the essentials I have covered and it surprisingly didn't break the bank.

Now for the fun stuff...

I am obsessed with all the art on Etsy, and Redbubble, but it is just way too expensive when you're a broke college student...so I opted for Amazon. They actually had some really cute stuff, so I got a 4 piece art set, and 4 throw pillows (the yellow floral ones, and sage green ones), for only about $70. They really just bring my room together and give it that little bit of pizzaz it needed. (I also found 4 matching frames from Goodwill and I'm OBSESSED with the raw wood look with the art!)

4. Glossier Balm Dotcom

I have always been a fan of Glossier products, and all of my makeup is from Glossier. I think their products are really high quality and never let me down.

If you don't want to buy all of their products like I do- the one product I recommend you try is their Balm Dotcom. They keep your lips nice and juicy, and lets be honest- the packaging is cute af. They have so many flavors and color tints, so there's something for everyone. They also last SO long because a little goes a long way. The two I have currently are lavender, and cherry. Both are 10/10.

5. Peanut Butter M&Ms

The superior M&M. Not the peanut ones, the peanut butter ones. The peanut ones are not the vibe because I don't like getting the little bits of peanut stuck in my teeth. But the peanut BUTTER ones are just ~chefs kiss~. They have that little somethin-somethin that the normal ones are lacking. The other week I got this cute little glass pumpkin candy bowl and I filled it with the peanut butter M&Ms- tell me why it cost almost $15 to fill it up?! Inflation am I right lol.
